Small DB or Superfund!

Does size matter for DB pension schemes?

We are pleased to give you advance notice of the next TDC Pensions Conference, to be held on Thursday 25 May 2017 at 200 St Vincent Street, Glasgow.

This Conference will focus on the management of small DB pension schemes and discuss the industry proposals for scheme consolidation.

As usual, our Conference will have a variety of speakers who present on their specialist subject relevant for trustees and employers with DB pension schemes. We are delighted to announce that our guest speakers will be Martyn Shaw, Pensions Partner at MacRoberts and Richard Slater, Head of Deloitte’s UK Investment Consulting practice. Martyn will present on scheme governance and other issues facing “21st Century Trustees” and Richard will present on investment issues and options, particularly for small DB pension schemes. In addition, Ann Marie Dickson and Mike Calder of TDC will discuss the recent DWP Green Paper and PLSA Taskforce Report, both focusing on security and sustainability of DB schemes.

The Conference will run from 8.30am to 11.30am and is suitable for Trustees, Finance Directors, HR Managers and other DB pension scheme advisers. Further details will be available shortly.

We hope you are able to join us on 25 May. If you or any of your colleagues wish to register to attend, please send an email to ashley.morrison@tdcDB.co.uk

If the Glasgow location is not suitable for you, we are repeating the Conference in Aberdeen a week later, on Thursday 1 June 2017.
